The Vajra and Bell are two of the most important symbols of tantric buddhism, symbolising compassion or skilful means and wisdom. Together they represent the mind of enlightenment, the absolute state of non-dual wisdom.
Their presence in tantric art and ritual is ubiquitous, found in many mandalas and are items held by Vajrasattva.
